OEG appoints Infrastructure Planning Specialist Dr Rosemary Hayanga to lead Eastern African Business

We’re delighted to announce that a respected Infrastructure leader and researcher Dr Rosemary Hayangah has been appointed as the Head of Eastern African Business (OEG Kenya – Eastern African Head Office).

Dr Rosemary is a Professional Urban and Regional Planner and academician with over 30 years of experience within the government, research, and private sector. Dr Rosemary Awuor Hayangah holds a PhD in Regional Planning (Wales).

She was initially the Head of School for Architecture, Planning & Housing at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Dr Hayangah has been a Senior Policy and Technical Planning Advisor at municipal, regional & national levels (Botswana, Kenya, South Africa & Rwanda). She has been a Planning Technical Advisor with the Municipal Infrastructure Support Agency (MISA) and Technical Consultant Programme Delivery Facilitator with the National Department of Human Settlements (South Africa). 

She is looking forward to focusing on the  driving infrastructure development in Eastern Africa and beyond
