Osmotic Engineering Group (Pty) Ltd (“OEG”) was founded by a team of innovative, dynamic, solution-centric engineers who share a passion for sustainable infrastructure development in Africa.

OEG is a multi-disciplinary firm that specialises in technical advisory, engineering consulting and project development services within the telecommunications, water, and energy infrastructure sectors.

OEG undertakes infrastructure projects using an innovative approach, serving as a specialist anchor to the client, while mobilising and aligning all required inputs on the projects. Project formulation, design and implementation rest with our in-house engineering and technical expertise. Environmental approvals require environmental experts and clearances. Contractual and regulatory relationships need legal expertise. Funding of projects needs investment and financing experts, among others. OEG has the capacity to assemble these experts to ensure successful actualisation of projects, within the African context.

Our executive management team have strong backgrounds in engineering, infrastructure development, business management, leadership, finance, and marketing obtained through their African and overseas experience and qualifications.

The executive management team is supported by a broader team of in-house subject matter experts with specialisations in engineering, technology, economics, and finance.

The team represents diverse backgrounds in terms of culture, race, gender, and geography, reflective of the demographics of Africa.

TMTJ and OEG were appointed as project managers for over 2,500 new telecommunication towers sites for Gyro/Telkom. We are responsible for leading the project nationally, including coordination of project resources and deliverables.

Sebokeng Wastewater Treatment Works Effluent reclamation study – OEG is assisting Rand Water South Africa to develop a feasibility study/business case for Sebokeng Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Reuse/Reclamation Plant.

Our Energy team is providing technical advisory and feasibility services to a South African-based Independent Power Producer (IPP) for development of a 7 MW solar PV farm located in Gauteng, South Africa.
