Mr Andrew Johnson joins Osmotic Engineering Group as Energy Director to drive sustainable infrastructure across Africa
Mr Andrew Johnson is a mechanical engineer with over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. His specialisation is in the development and implementation of renewable energy and energy storage projects. He graduated from the University of Queensland Australia and obtained MBA with Distinction from the University of Stellenbosch South Africa.
He has an in-depth experience with wind, solar PV, coal, gas, biomass, diesel, HFO, solar thermal and waste-to-energy technologies. Including experience with construction and operation of circulating fluidised bed boiler technology.
Andrew has successfully led and coordinated large infrastructure energy projects across Africa, the UK and Asia Pacific regions.
Andrew has a passion for leading multidisciplinary teams to solve complex energy problems. He is pursuing and leading the development of medium to large-scale greenfield power projects, from concept to financial close, in sub-Saharan Africa
